Obituary

Aaron "Bud" Peek, 77, of Salisbury was born to the late Willie Ivey Peek and Virginia Graham Peek on June 13, 1944, in Crawfordville, GA., departed his earthly life on May 28, 2022, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Mr. Peek attended Aggrey Memorial High School in Landis, he retired from the NC Department of Transportation, worked part-time for the City of Salisbury and Carolina Site of Salisbury. He was a member of Rose of Sharon Holiness Church where he served as a Deacon and former Trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Aaron Jefferies; daughter, Vickie; and sister, Martha Peek Carter. He leaves memories to his wife, Evelyn White Peek; his children, Tracy Jefferies-Quillian (Anthony), Angela Hall (Vernon), Patricia Watson (Terry), Yvette Farmer, Janice Farmer, Curtis White, and William Farmer, Jr.; sisters, Mary Roseboro (Clifford), Brenda Ellis, Magaline Austin, Rachel Peek, and Patricia Turner (Mark); 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly. Arrangements: Funeral service arrangements Tuesday, June 7, 12 p.m. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel, burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Salisbury National Cemetery. Public viewing will be Monday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Peek family.
