SALISBURY – It is with profound sadness yet with blessed hope of the day of resurrection that we announce the passing of our precious Alexis Leandra Greer. Alexis Leandra Greer, 45, of Salisbury, NC was born to the late Alex L. Greer, Jr. and Patricia Ann Greer on July 30,1977 in Dallas, TX. She departed her life too soon on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Alexis was a North Rowan High School Career and Technical Educator, recently promoted to Instructional Coach, NRHS Cheer Coach, and was working on her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Gardner-Webb University. She was also a member of Cornerstone Church. Alexis was preceded in death by her father Alex Jr., sister Serena, and twin brother Alex III. She leaves cherished memories to her mother, Patricia Greer; sister, LaTonya Saunders; brother, Anthony (Tacha) Graves and a host of relatives and friends. Service & Visitation: Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, Salisbury, NC, preceded by a viewing at 10:30 am.
