Alma Marie Gaines Stalling, 80, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her home. She was born to the late Elmer Rankins and Victoria Gaines in Iredell County on June 26, 1940. She was educated in Iredell County and retired from Cone Mills; she was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; Paul Gaines, Edward Gaines, Joseph Gaines, Willie Mae Gaines McNeil, and Naomi Ruth Hall. She leaves memories to her sons; Anthony Stalling of the home, Marcus Stalling and Samuel Stalling both of Salisbury, brother; Larry Gaines, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 11, at 12:00 noon at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel; burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Public viewing Thursday 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Stalling family.
