afternoon on Tuesday August 6 th , 2024 at Atrium Health Hospital, Almighty God in his
infinite wisdom, mercy, and grace gently touched Alvin Bobo, Jr. and he peacefully entered into eternal rest, with his daughter by his side. Alvin Jr. affectionately known as "Bo" was born February 26, 1955 to Carrie Mae Bobo and the late Alvin Bobo, Sr.

He was a 1973 graduate of Lexington Senior High School and was employed with PPG Industries for over 30 years before his health declined. He was of Baptist faith and was
a member of Files Chapel Baptist Church. His fun time was spent fishing and drawing. His love for his daughter never wavered. He never called her Tara but "Tata" meaning
that she will always be his little girl.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father Alvin Bobo, Sr and a brother Kenneth Bobo. Alvin leaves to cherish his memory his mother;
Carrie Mae Bobo and devoted daughter Latara (Rodney) Craddock, two beautiful grandchildren Khalil and Kamiyah Craddock. Three brothers Michael (Shirley) Bobo,
James ( Minister Wendy) Bobo, and Brian (Gloria) Bobo. Four aunts Pearlene McMillian, Vernice Lindsay, Kathleen (Carlton) Pittman and Fannie Yarbrough. And a host of nieces,
nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services Saturday August 17, at 2:00p.m. Files Chapel Baptist Church and burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1:00- 2:00 pm at the church. Public viewing Friday at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
