Andrew Mitchell, Sr. EAST SPENCER - Andrew Mitchell, Sr., 79, of East Spencer was born to the late Annie Lee Mitchell and W.B. Cunningham on May 6, 1943 in Rowan County made passage to his final destination on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Mr. Mitchell attended Dunbar High School, retired from Boral Bricks, and a member of Southern City A.M.E. Zion Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Mitchell; and brother, Thomas Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Mitchell, of the home; sons, Andrew Mitchell, Jr. (Sandra) and Michael Mitchell (Stephanie); daughters, Jackie Sullivan, Yvette Johnson (Steve), and Stephanie Cato (Duran); sister, Nancy Mitchell; twenty six grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements: Funeral Services Friday, July 22, at 12 p.m., at Southern City A.M.E. Zion Church, burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to funeral and at all other times at the home. Public viewing Thursday, 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Mitchell family
