Angela Ruth Corpening Livingston, 66, of Salisbury, North Carolina, a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend, transitioned peacefully from this life into eternal peace on January 5, 2026, at the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. She was born on October 30, 1959, to the late George Wilson Corpening and Ruth Mae Hunter Corpening.

Angela was a graduate of East Rowan Senior High School and attended Rowan Technical College in Salisbury, NC. She worked at (CSP) Continental Structural Plastics (Teijin Automotive Technologies) as a Quality Control Technician for over 20 years. Angela devoted herself to her family, she leaves behind a legacy of love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her life is a testament of resilience and strength that will continue to echo through the lives she touched. Angela's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished every moment spent with them, celebrating their victories, supporting them through challenges, and nurturing bonds that will endure long beyond her earthly journey. Her presence was a steady source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love. She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her memory close, honoring her for her perseverance, and faith.

Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit remains a guiding light, reminding all who knew her to love fully, forgive freely, and embrace each day with gratitude. In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Corpening and George Corpening, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are children Necola Connor (Kendrick) and Tamekia Livingston. Her beloved grandchildren, DeNariae Livingston, Nyzaya Wilson, Kendrick Connor Jr, Messiah Connor Marcellus Steele, and Mahkya Livingston. Siblings, Sharon Corpening, Larry Corpening, Jerry Corpening (Andrea), Rita Taylor, Gary Corpening, Shirley Corpening, and Lisa Corpening; special niece LaToya Corpening; three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday January 17, at 1:00 p.m. New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC .The family will receive friends 12:00-1:00 p.m.
