Benjamin Matthews, Jr. 69, was born to the late Benjamin and Katie Burris Matthews Sr. on July 26, 1951 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 after a lengthy illness at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. He was a member of World of Faith and a Handyman. He was preceded in death by his parents and Roline Matthews. He is survived by his wife Sharon Matthews, sons; Roger (Lynn) Matthews, Daniel R.( Shonice) Matthews, bonus sons; Tony Baker, Marty (Eve) Burke, bonus daughters; Crishelle Patterson, Charlene (Deavion) Bradley, Katanya Baker, brothers; Donald (Jackie) Matthews, James Matthews, sisters; Macy Hill, Vanessa Matthews, Diane (Charles) Neely, mother-in -law; Anna Baker, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends.
