Calvin Sylvester Worth 76, was born to the late Alma Worth on October 1,1947 in Rowan County departed his Earthly Life on Friday March 29,2024 at Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and last employed at Duke Power.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and stepfather O.D. Robinson.

He leaves memories to his wife Ruth Jean Worth and stepdaughter; Martha Jones, brother; Larry (Mary)Worth, step granddaughter; Stephanie Jones and two great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral  Services will be Tuesday April 9, at 12:30 at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel burial will follow in Byers Cemetery, family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to funeral. Public viewing Monday 11:00- 5:00 p.m.
