Carlus Matthew Smith 74, of Salisbury was born to the late  Matthew and  Mary Emma Smith on June 6,1950 in Rowan County departed his Earthly life on November 25,2024.

He was a 1969 graduate of JC Price High School, a self- employed electrician. He could play any instrument , his love was computers, phones and anything electronic.

He was quiet and most of the time kept to himself, every now and then responding to texts that were sent days later.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother; John W. Smith, sisters; Doris Smith and  Jessie Vinson Chalk,

He leaves memories to his sons; Rodney Tillman( Shiquita), LaBrian Tillman, daughter; Alice Shavon Tillman Cuthbertson(Vonzell), eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews , a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial  Service Tuesday December 3,2024 at 2:00 p.m.. Rowan Funeral Services Chapel family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
