Charles Edward Corpening, Jr. 73, transition on July 3, 2026 at his home was born on September 13, 1952 to the late Charles Edward Corpening Sr. and Mary Davis Corpening in Rowan County.

He was a 1970 graduate of North Rowan High School and served his country in the US Marine.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves memories to his sister; Barbara Corpening, of Brooklyn, NY, a host other family and friends.

Celebration of Life : Wednesday July 22, at 12:00 Rowan Funeral Services Chapel family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service. Military Service will be at 1:30  at Salisbury National Cemetery.
