Damon Jermaine Blackwell 44, formerly of Salisbury, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 5, 2021 due to a car accident in Charlotte, NC. He was born to George Blackwell and Pamela Ramsey on June 1, 1977 in Detroit, Michigan. He attended North Rowan High School and later received his GED at Davidson County Community College. He was the owner and operator of WHAM!!!. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; William and Mae Frances Ramsey and Paul and Mary Blackwell. He is survived by his mother; Pamela Ramsey, of Salisbury, NC, father; George Blackwell(Debbie) of Mooresville, NC, three sons; Damon J. Blackwell, Jr., Delijah Jallah Blackwell, Dillion Steele, brothers; Derrick J. Blackwell (Angela), Dr. Darren Ramsey(Jade), stepsister; Deidre Lewis, grandson; Demoni Blackwell, special uncle and mentor: James Greene, nephews; Renard Adams, Derrick, Jr., Demarcus Blackwell, niece; Dream Adams, aunts, uncles, cousins and the Real Boys his friends for life, and they know who they are "Ma's Boys." Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 11, at 6:00 P.M. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel.
