David Lee Woods 79, was born to the late Conyurs and Anna Hyde Woods on May 4, 1941 in Rowan County and made his final transition on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Transitional Health Services after a brief illness. He attended school in Rowan County and worked many years as a baker for Flower Bakery. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; Betty J. Davis, Vera Mae Housch, John L. Woods, and Charles Woods. He is survived by his son; David L. Banks (Frances), Kannapolis, daughters; Shelia W. Abraham, Mocksville, Chakeeta Banks, Kannapolis, sister; Bernice Imes, Salisbury, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Woods family.
