Obituary

Dolly Jean Lee 75, of Lexington was born in Davidson County on February 23, 1947, to the late Jessie Lee and Beatrice Fuller Lee departed her earthly life on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at her home. She was a 1965 graduate of Dunbar High School, employed by Lexington Furniture for many years, and retired from CMW Manufacturing in Salisbury, NC. She was a tithe payer and worked on the building fund and the love gift programs with the United House of Prayer for All People. Dolly enjoyed attending concerts to see the Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, and the O'Jays with her sister and cousin Jerry Fuller. She enjoyed shopping at Hamrick's in Winston-Salem and frequented various gas stations across town where she would see many locals. She enjoyed reading the Dispatch, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Southern Lunch for breakfast. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Theodore Fuller, and sister Paulette Miller. She is survived by her sister Janice Faye Lee, brother Macon Lee, special niece Maranda Leverette, special cousin Jerry Fuller, sister-in-law Lisa Fuller, nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services Friday, April 15, at 12 p.m. United House of Prayer for All People in Lexington, NC burial Lexington City Cemetery. Visitation 11:00 - 12:00 p.m.
