Edward Darnell Gibson, Jr. 43, born to Debra Jefferies and Edward Darnell Gibson Sr, on October 8, 1977 in Rowan County passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Rowan County. He was a 1995 graduate of West Rowan High School and the Job Corp. He is survived by his parents, son; Jerico Gibson, brothers; Patrick Imes, all of Salisbury, NC, Jonathan N. Gibson of Albemarle, NC, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service is Friday August 20, at 12:00 p.m. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel, burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. Family visitation 30 minutes prior to service. Public viewing; Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Gibson family.
