Glenda Diane Steele, 59, drifted away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center. She was born to Julia Steele on August 18, 1963, in Rowan County. Ms. Steele attended Salisbury High School but graduated through Job Corp and was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Trinity Homes. A sister preceded her in death, Vicky Steele. Cherished memories are left to her mother, Julia Steele; daughters, Latasha Steele and Destiny Steele; son, Maurice Steele; sisters, Ramona Harris, Leketha Bryant, and Talwanda Bryant; grandchildren, Mandashia Steele, Travarre Miller, Roslyn Steele, De' Miyah Steele, and Dy'Heem Steele; great-grandchild, Ja'Nila Minter-Steele; and nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements: Funeral services Saturday, November 26, at 1 p.m. Family visitation from 12-1 p.m. with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery. Public viewing Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Steele family.
