Gloria Denise Farris Martin, 66 of Kannapolis, NC was born on April 8, 1959 to  William A. Farris, Sr. and the late Estelle Neal Farris in Cabarrus County, transition on Tuesday December 9,2025 surrounded by her family and love ones by her bedside.

She was a 1977 graduate of A.L. Brown High School, a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Kannapolis where she served proudly as an Usher and she was last employed at Pillowtex.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; William A. Farris,Jr, Michael Blakney,Sr. Tony Leak,Ricky Farris, Debra Ann Farris and daughter; Angel Farris.

She leaves precious memories to her husband; Roosvelt Martin, son; Carlos Farris, daughter; Jachovia Farris, brothers; Jessie Farris(Karen), Robert Neal Sr., David Farris, Timothy Jordan( Sylvia), sisters; Lisa Lyon(Ricky),Sonya Ladd(Roger), Tracey Hilton(Marvin),Tommie Ann Jordan, eleven grandchildren , two great-grandchildren, a special friends: Patricia Sifford, Teresa Ramsuer, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday December 20,at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Kannapolis, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family Visitation: 12:00-1:00. Public Viewing; Friday 11:00-5:00 at Rowan Funeral Serrvices.
