Gordon Brian Patterson, Sr. 61 of Kannapolis was born to Estelle Thomas Tinsley and the late Traxler Patterson on October 28, 1959 in Paterson, NJ and passed away on March 22, 2021 at Atrium Health, Concord, NC. Mr. Patterson was a craftsman with Old Southern Stone and a member of Mt Zion C.M.E. Church. He was preceded in death by his father, stepfather; Malcolm Tinsley and sister Diane Banks. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Bass Patterson of the home, son; Gordon B. Patterson, II(Iesha), sister; Janell York, grandchildren; Christarian, G'siah, JaCory, paternal nieces; Mia Reardon, Ashley Salter, paternal nephews; Vaughn Harper, Rajon York, nieces, nephews a host of other relatives, and friends. Services: Private funeral services will be Wednesday March 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel; burial will follow in Rowan Memorial Park. Public viewing Tuesday 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Gordon family.
