Gregory Edwards 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 1, 2026 surrounded by his family. Gregory was the cherished son of Iristine Williams and the late Frank J. Edwards born on April 9, 1956 in Manhattan, New York and he was raises in Jamaica. Gregory was the youngest of two sons.

Gregory was a gentleman, who did not say much. He had a quiet dignity about him. He attended Francis Lewis High School. After high school Gregory worked at Queens Public Library for thirty three years as a security guard. He retired in 2017.

Gregory was engaged to Flora Jackson and together they had Gregory R. Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his father Frand Edwards, brother; Glen Edwards and spouse; Patricia Monteria.

He was a devotedson; to Iristine Edwards, devoted father; of Gregory R. Edwards(Keisha), grandsons; Cohen,Dallas,Daelyn, stepson; Brandon Sorocki, stepdaughters; Sherell M. Riveria, Dien C. Monteria, step-grandchildren; Deoseaquan(DJ), Eternity,Aeon, Journey, Oliv, two great-grandchildren; Khe' , Ta'ynla and other family members.. Dutiful caretakers; Monica Brown and Flora Sorocki, special thanks to Hospice Care, Stacia, Kim and Tara.

He leaves behind a family who will miss him dearly, and carry on his stories, his humor amd his love with them always.

May he rest peacefully, reunited with Pat and forever surrounded by the love of the family he cherished.
