Jeffrey Scott Clegg Sr. was born on February 5, 1969 to Elizabeth Seigle Clegg and the late Claude Andrew Clegg Jr. of Salisbury, North Carolina. Jeffrey passed away on March 23, 2026, in Statesville, North Carolina.

Jeffrey was educated in the Salisbury-Rowan County School System. He enjoyed cars and automotive work. He also liked watching college football and traveling.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth S. Clegg (Burton); sons Jeffrey S. Clegg, Jr. and Brian Clegg; his daughter, Shaquandra Clegg; four grandchildren; brother, Claude Clegg, III (Alfreda); and aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and other relatives.

Funeral Service: Saturday March 28, at 1:00 p.m. Word of Life  Family Worship Center, burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:00- 1:00 prior to service.
