Jerry Wayne Lovell, Sr. 73, was born in Rowan County to the late Herman and Mary Montgomery Lovell on March 3, 1952 transistioned on Thursday October 16, 2025 at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville,NC.

He received his GED from Mitchell Community College, last employed with Ingersol-Rand and was associated with the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Herman and Mary Lovell,siblings; Robert J. Lovell, Noil "June" Lovell and Mary B. Lovell.

Memories to be cherished by his sons; Patrick Lovell(Sandy), Casey Lovell, Jerry W. Lovell.Jr., and David Jermaine Lovell, sister; Doris L. Noble, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren,nieces, nephews a host of other relatives and friends.
