John Frank Dunlap Jr but so affectionally known as "Dunlap" age 65 born June 30th 1960 to the late John Frank Dunlap Sr and Ernestine Dunlap.

John Frank attended North Rowan High School but graduated from West Rowan High School in 1978. He was known for his strong hands working on cars, his BOLD attitude, and unwavering love for his family. He loved Music. He enjoyed sharing stories, offering advice, and creating lasting memories. Whether through simple conversations or meaningful life lessons. "Dunlap" made a lasting impact on the lives he touched.

He was proceeded in Death by his Father John Frank Dunlap Sr, his daughter Angela "Mookie" Dunlap, and two granddaughters Daja Cathcart and Taliah Williams.

He is survived by his mother Ernestine Dunlap. Daughter Deanna Dunlap and son John Frank Dunlap III. Two brothers Ernest (Sherry) Dunlap and Willie Joe Dunlap. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A lifelong friend Madeline Ingram and two great friends "more like brothers" Matthew Trexler and David Eagle.
