John Gaston Noble III, 78 was born in Rowan County to the late John Gaston Noble Sr. and Lucille Archie Noble on January 14,1947 completing his duty as a Servant here entered  into Eternal Rest on Sunday August 31, 2025 at Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center.

John was a graduate of Dunbar High School , receiving a Bachleor's Degree from Shaw University, a member  and guitarist of Shady Grove Baptist Church  He served as  an Alderman of East Spencer, Patrolman, Volunteer Fireman, employed by the Rowan County Sheriff Department, retired Lieutenant Bailer his life was about live to serve others.

John was soft spoken, a friendly smile, quiet demeanor but got a attention when needed,  a loving father ,grandfather, great grandfather and friend .

He was preceded in death by his parents, John G. Gaston, Sr., Lucille A. Noble and sister; Billie Ann Clodelter.

He leaves cherish memories to his daughters; Deedre Noble-Cuthbertson (Tommy), Angela Noble , grandchildren; Rashonda, Jerica, John, BJ, Domonique, Rashad, Josh Mary, Adrianna, twenty great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Wednesday September 10, 12:00 Shady Grove Baptist Church burial will follow at 2:30 Salisbury National Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Public viewing Tuesday 11:00-5:00 p.m.
