Joseph Lee "Buff" Alexander, 42, was born to the late Scottie Woodson and Hazel Jackson on November 8, 1979, in Rowan County. He departed his earthly life on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. He attended Salisbury High School and was last employed as a Janitorial Supervisor with Jani King. He was of Baptist faith. Memories will be cherished by his longtime companion Katrina Oliver. He was survived by his sons; Jakaii Alexander, Ja'Quan Foster, Nasir Luckey, daughters; Jaleeha Alexander, Zi' Mya Alexander, Arianna Crosby, brothers; John Jackson(Tracy), Eric Tyrone Alexander, Ronald Jones, Fred Jenkins, sisters; Michelle Peck (James), Gwendolyn Howell, Rhonda Walker (Robert), and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 28, at 3:00 P.M. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel. Family will receive guests one hour prior to service. All other times guests will be received at their home. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Alexander family.
