Leroy Alexander Cuthbertson 75, of Mooresville was born to the late William and Doris Harper Cuthbertson on December 27,1948 in Rowan County departed his Earthly Life on June 6, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Cuthbertson was a graduate of R.A. Clement High School and last employed with Waggoner Manufacturing in Mount Ulla.

Mr. Cuthbertson moved about quietly and when you looked up he was gone. Mr. Cuthbertson always kept a smile on his face. He loved hanging out with his friends John Ellis, Donnell Gibson and his brother the late William "Rabbit' Cuthbertson.

Mr. Cuthbertson was a highly valued employee of Waggoner Manufacturing in Mount Ulla. He began as a young teen working alongside his father, Mr. William Cuthbertson and Mr. Wayne Waggoner in Mr. Waggoner Landscaping business in the 1960's. Life took him in another direction for 20 or so years, but he returned to the Waggoners' to assist in building of their current business in the late 1980's and quickly became a beloved son to Mr. and Mrs. Waggoner as well as a brother to the Waggoner siblings, Mark, Scott and Lynne. An additional brother relationship was formed with long-time co-worker, Steve Lloyd. Mr. Cuthbertson 's easy-going ways and boyish grin will be greatly missed by all of his co-workers at Waggoner Manufacturing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Doris Cuthbertson and brother; William Cuthbertson.

He leaves memories to his wife Fannie I. Cuthbertson, son; John Alexander( Glenda), daughters; Renee(Miguel)Rizo, Taira (Rev. Clarence)Jones, Kenisha (Antoine) Riddick, Angelia Ingram(Edward), Laverne Howell, brothers; Paul Cuthbertson, Rev. Tommy (Deedre)Cuthbertson, Ronnie(Rev. Donna)Cuthbertson, Cedric (Ashlee)Cuthbertson, sisters; Mary Dalton, Vanessa (Steve) Williamson, Wanda(Kenny) Brown, Virginia "TC' Witherspoon, his special family; Dr. Mark(Linn) Waggoner,  Steve (Lisa) Lloyd, Scott (Regina) Waggoner and Lynn (Randy) Willis, a host of grandchildren , other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Thursday June 13, at 1:00 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services Chapel burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Mooresville, NC. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service and public viewing Wednesday 11:00- 5:00 pm.
