Lora Yvonne Charleston Campbell 61, of Salisbury was born to the late Geraldine Charleston and James Calvin Douglas on April 18, 1961 was called home on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. A 1979 graduate of North Rowan High School, a former member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, and a member of Empowerment For Living Ministries where she served as a Deaconess, Usher, Hospitality, and Kitchen Committee. She was a Lab Technician at W.G Hefner Medical Center for over a decade. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves cherished memories to her husband Zachary Campbell, two daughters; Makia Martin, and Latoya Campbell (Derrick), son; Zachary Campbell Jr. (ShMyra), siblings; Cassandra Colbert (Leroy), James Alexander, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be Saturday July 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church 719 Caldwell Street., Rev. George Gillispie, Eulogist, burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 at the church, all other times at the home. Public viewing Friday 11:00 - 5:30 p.m. at Rowan Funeral Services. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Campbell/Charleston family.
