Loretta Chapman Kincaid, 85, of Salisbury was born in Chesterfield, SC to the late Luther Chapman and Rutherlee Munford Chapman on October 16, 1935 and departed her earthly life on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center.   She was a retired teacher from the Rowan-Salisbury Headstart and member of Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church until failing health.   She leaves cherished memories to her son; Alfred Kincaid(Janette), Salisbury, daughters; Bernadette Kincaid, Lakeya Kincaid, grandchildren; Larry Berry Avery Allen, Alicia Kincaid, great-grandchildren; Avery Allen, Chace Allen, sister; Terrie Lee Allen, Long Island, NY, sister-in laws; Susie Mae Chapman, Dorothy Chapman; nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives, and friends.   Funeral services will be Thursday October 7, at 12:00 noon at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel; burial will follow in City Memorial Park. Public Viewing Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Kincaid family.
