Michael Donnell Johnson, 65 of Salisbury was born in Rowan County to the late  Robert Johnson and Nelly Wood Johnson on December 13,1957 departed his earthly life on December 10, 2023 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

He attended Rowan-Salisbury Schools and was last employed as a concrete layer with Jim Bost Construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sheronda Johnson and brother Robert Johnson, Jr.

He leaves memories to his daughters; Takesha McKenzie , Stephanie Washington sisters; Margaret Rankin, Elizabeth Johnson(Christopher), Rosalyn MC Elaney, nine grandchildren,eleven great grandchildren,nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Wednesday December 20, at 12:30 at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel burial will follow in Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 30 minutues prior to service.
