Michael Lewis Washington, age 66, of Salisbury, North Carolina, he was born to the late Isiah and Marie Riley Washington  passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025.

Michael proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). After his military service, he dedicated his life to his faith, family, and passions. He was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints and Alabama Crimson Tide football and enjoyed watching classic westerns.

Michael is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lynn Washington and was the proud father of four sons:   Antonio Washington ( Kelly), Isaac Washington, Mackienze Washington(Stephanie) Clay Washington, and grandfather to five grandchildren: Isiah, Bryce, Brinley, Genesis, Caleb,  brothers; Abraham  Washington and Ulease Washington, sister: Mae Washington. He was one of ten siblings those that preceded him in death were: John Washington, Charles Washington, Maurice Washington, Robert Washington, Inez Washington, Bernice Washington,  foster sisters: Sylvia Wrice, Teresa Wrice, and Linda Wrice, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends.

Known for his wisdom, strong faith, and unwavering support, Michael was always present for his loved ones, no matter the circumstance. He valued family above all else.

He leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
