Pauline Wilborn Holmes, 72, of Salisbury was born to the late Louis Kelly and Sarah Huly Wilborn on July 15, 1948 in Rowan County and departed her life on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. She attended Rowan-Salisbury schools and retired from PPG Industries. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Voidy Holmes, siblings; Sadie Whisonant and Minnie Lee Wilson. She leaves cherished memories to her daughter; Tonya Holmes, grandchildren Kierra Davis, Jahbrel Russell, great granddaughter; Skyla Smith, sister; Sarah Evans, nephews Franklin (Greta) Evans, Garfield (Tavia) Evans, niece; Dianne (James) Kelly, Jacqueline Mills, Reginald Mills, a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 12, at 1:00 P.M. Rowan Memorial Park. No Public viewing. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Holmes family.
