Pearlena Mays Jackson, 85, born to the late Lena Williams on November 9, 1935 in Johnston, SC made her final destination on Thursday, April 22, 2021. She was a graduate of Highland Senior High School and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. William T. Jackson, Sr. Pearlena leaves precious memories to her sons; George B. Jackson (Pamela), William T. Jackson Jr. (Yvonne), daughters; Gwendolyn Jackson, Shelia Gorham (Ephraim), Albirda Beach (Anthony), aunt; Lillian Simpkins, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 4 at 11:00 a.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church; burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery. Viewing will be at the church prior to funeral services. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Jackson family.
