Sandra Denise Knox 58, of Salisbury was born to Grilnail Knox Whitner and the late Eugene Whitner on July 30, 1966 transition on Friday February 7, at Novant Rowan Regional Medical Center.

She attended the Rowan-Salisbury School System and was last employed with the Rowan-Salisbury School System.

She was preceded in death by her father; Eugene Whitner.

She is survived by her mother; Grilnail Whitner, son; Jesse James Gibb, Jr, (Sabrina Mack), daughters; Anita Whitner(Douglas Redfern), Jessica Womble(Tracy Womble) brothers; Christopher Whitner, Eugene Whitner , sister; Ada Wallace(Anthony Wallace), grandchildren; Jahieem Knox, Mercedes Mills, great-grandchild; Tamaji Walker, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
