Tara Tanisha Allison 48, was born in Cabarrus County to Cathy Allison and the late Isaac Massey on July 28, 1973. She made her transition from earth on Friday March 4, 2022, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Tara attended Rowan-Salisbury Schools, later receiving her GED, and was employed with Rowan Transit as a bus driver. Tara leaves cherished memories to many family and friends; she is survived by her mother, Cathy Allison; son, Michael McHenry; sister; Felisha (Edward "Pee Wee") Kesler; brother, Todd Massey; grandchildren, Xavier Davis, Michael Hopkins, Zo'Rian McHenry; maternal grandmother, Barbara R. Allison; a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements: Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Family visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Public viewing will be Wednesday 10-5:30 p.m. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Allison family.
