**Celebratory Obituary for Terry Germaine Cathcart**

Terry Germaine Cathcart, born on April 3, 1972, in Salisbury, NC, transitioned to eternal life on August 12, 2026. A beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, Terry's spirit and warmth touched everyone who knew him. He dedicated his life to hard work and was employed with Bestco in Mooresville,NC . Terry loved sneakers and his favorite NFL team was the Las Vegas Raiders.

Terry is remembered for his incredible love for his family and friends. He is survived by his cherished wife, Amanda Cathcart, and their vibrant children: Tiffany Caldwell, Totiana Cathcart, Terry(Chevy)Cathcart, MaHogani Faggart, Destiny Cathcart, Jaquavion Carpenter, and Makayla Faggart. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of grandchildren, including Kimora Cooper, Kadence Cooper, Amiyah Dean, Maleah Faggart, and the incoming Tahi Cathcart, who brought immense joy to his life.

Terry's close-knit family also includes brothers Nicholas Cathcart, Rayshaune Woods, Brandon Jefferson, Joey (Clarissa)Rankin, and Blayne Johnson, as well as brother-in-law: Marlon(Tara) Faggart and sisters-in-law Jamie Faggart and Toni Hester. His loving ,aunt and uncles, Betty Robinson, Frederick Cathcart, Jr., James Cathcart, and Terry Woods, mother in-law; Glenda Faggart and father in-law; Willie (Carol) Gilmore will also carry his memory in their hearts.

A Celebration of Terry's life will be held Friday August 21, at 3:00 p.m. Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church 719 S. Caldwell Street, Burial will follow in Memorial Park 1310 W Innes St, Salisbury, NC 28144. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to service to honor Terry's remarkable journey, sharing stories, laughter, and love in a ceremony that embodies his zest for life.
