Theresa Lee Scott  69, of Salisbury was born to the late John Richard Scott and Mary Jolee Singletary in Iredell County on August 25, 1953, departed her life on sunday April 2, 2023.

Mrs. Scott was educated in the Iredell County School System and was employed last with Spencer Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald I. Scott and daughter Tonya Ann Gibson.

She is survived by her companion: William Herndon, Jr. , sons; Alonzo Gibson, Kenneth Scott, daughters; Fatina Gibson,  special granddaughter: Deanna Scott,special friends Candace McNeely, Dione Pharr, brothers; Donald Richard Scott (Shirley) of Charlotte,NC, John Allen Scott (Jackie),Statesville,NC, sisters; Frances Marie Scott, Statesville, NC, Gloria Ann Houston, Atlanta,GA, eleven grandchildren, seven great -grandchildren, nephews, nieces , a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday April 15, at 1:00 Love Christian Center, 102 Long Street,East Spencer,NC burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Public viewing Friday 10:00- 5:30 p.m.
