William "Moot" Clinding, 72, of Salisbury, who was born to the late Rachel Clinding Miller on December 2, 1949, went into eternal rest on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and attended Livingstone College. He was an United States Army Veteran, and was employed and retired from W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center. William was a member of New Hope AME Zion Church. He leaves to cherish the memories of his life to his children, son Russell Clinding; daughter Tara Clinding; son Dezron Marlin; sister Rosa White; brother David Miller; special niece Pamula (Edgrick) Holland; Brenda Clinding (wife of 22 years and devoted friend); special friend Beverly Marlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Arrangements: Celebration of Life will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Hope AME Zion Church. The family will receive friends 30 mins prior to service. Burial will take place on Friday at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 10 a.m. Rowan Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
