Frederica LaShon (Smith) Bush

Frederica LaShon Smith Bush 52, was born to William " Bill" Witherspoon and the late Gwendolyn Parks Oakley on July 13,1971 in Rowan County departed her life on Friday November 3, 2023 at Atrium Health Care, Charlotte, NC.

She was a graduate of North Rowan High School and attended Fayetteville State University, a member of Disciples For Christ Outreach Ministry and was a Dialysis Technician with Fresenius Kidney Care Dialysis Services.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gwendolyn Parks Oakley and grandmother Cathrine Roebuck.

She is survived by her father; William "Bill" Witherspoon, daughters :Jesynta Bailey , Khadijah Boyd, brothers; Omar Witherspoon, Aki Witherspoon, sisters; Aurelia Smith , Tara Smith ,five grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday November 10, at 3:00 at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel, family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service. Public viewing will be Thursday 11:00- 5:00p.m.
