Larry Miller Obituary

Larry Miller, 56, passed away on Thursday, February 4. 2021 He was born January 8, 1965 in Rowan County. He was the son of Virginia Miller and the late William Miller. Larry was a graduate of Salisbury High School where he played football and basketball. He attended Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was last employed with Beck Facility Services at Chewy in Spencer, NC. Larry was a loving and caring person with a heart of gold. He would do anything to help others. He took extra special care of his mother. He considered himself to be the best cook in the world. His favorite thing to say was "I cook for thousands." He was a meticulous person and especially so when it came to cleaning. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Virginia Miller; two sons, Dajun and Akeem Miller of Thomasville, NC; one daughter, Quanasia Miller of Raeford, NC; four grandchildren, Nyzaiah, Nyomi, Nyasia Knight, and Dominic Miller; four sisters, Debra (Terry) Wood, and Wille Mae (Kenneth) Abel, of Salisbury; Janice (Elvis) De Leon, and Rochelle Mason of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Howard Miller of Salisbury; and special people, Felton Brown (his best friend; Brenda Blakeney (who he lovingly referred to as Aunt Brenda) of Decatur, GA; and Catherine Mason (step-mother), Pittsburgh, PA. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Saturday February 13, at Jerusalem Baptist Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday 10:00 - 5:00 P.M. Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Miller family.
