Sarah Armina (Bohannon) Leverett

Sarah Armina Bohannon Leverett 94, was born to the late Early J. Bohannon and Ida Murray Bohannon on July 27, 1928 in Forsyth County passed away on May 3,2023 .

She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and was last employed as a Childcare caregiver. She was a faithful member of Shadyside Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  son; James Keith Leverett ,brothers; Edward Bohannon, William Bohannon, sisters; Margaret Leverett Curbeam, Gwendolyn Justina B. Bussey and Cora Magdalene B. Bussey.

She leaves cherish memories to her sons; Ulyssess Bernard Leverett, Stanley Leverett, Kevin Leverett, daughters Pamela R. Leverett, Cheryl Leverett-Lide, Gwendolyn R. Leverett , sister-in-law; Paula Bohannon(Edward "d.) brother -in law, Clarence Bussey( Gwendolyn "d.), twenty grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, nephews, nieces a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service Monday May 8, at 12 noon First Presbyterian Church 15th W. 3rd Ave, burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery, family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Sunday 2:00 - 6:00 Rowan Funeral Services.
