Tammy Maelene Shepherd

Tammy Maelene Shepherd 55, of Lexington was born to the late James Shepherd and Barbara Jean Robinson McKee in Rowan County on October 12,1967 departed this earthly life on Friday April 21,2023.

A 1987 graduate of South Rowan High and faithful employed with Haleys Future Leader Childcare as a teacher and bus driver in Salisbury, NC a faithful worker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James Shepherd and Barbara J. McKee, brothers; James Shepherd,II, Michael C .Shepherd and Timothy P. Wiseman.

She leaves cherish memories to her daughters; Charity Shepherd, Antanette Shepherd,five grandchildren, brother; Kenneth Shepherd,sister; Julia Robinson,  aunts; Kathy Brown, Beverly Mackin, Mae Farrow, companion; Dexter Jones, bonus sisters;  Kim Caldwell, Lisa Heggins, Tanya Haley-Griggs, Towanda Rucker, Ella Austin, Cynthia Morris,  nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services  will be Sunday April 30, at 3:00 p.m. Files Chapel Baptist Church, burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery. Family will recieve friends one prior to service.Public viewing at Rowan Funeral Services Saturday 11:00 - 5:00 p.m..
