Arthur Beaty 89, of Salisbury was born to the late Arthur Beaty Sr. and Crinner Jones Beaty on January 23, 1932 in Rowan County and passed away at Novant Health Regional Medical Center surrounded by loved ones on September 16, 2021 He was a graduate of Mocksville High School, retired as Master Sergeant from the US Army after serving 20 years and receiving numerous commendations and medals. He retired from Cohens Roofing of twenty years. He was a faithful member of God's Tabernacle for Believers where he was a dedicated Deacon and loved to sing hymns. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years Helen Beaty and brother Ahab Beaty. He is survived his children; Shirley (Calvin) Cowan, Melvin Ingram, Brenda Adams, Linda Beaty, Darryl (Felicia) Beaty, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, brother Robert L. Beaty(Virginia), nephews, nieces, a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral services at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 26, at God's Tabernacle for Believers, Rockwell, NC; burial will be Tuesday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery. Family visitation will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday prior to service. The family will meet at his daughter Linda Beaty's; 1610 Chantilly Lane, Salisbury, NC 28146 Rowan Funeral Services is assisting the Beaty family.
